The Galway City Cougars represent the best of physical fitness, motivation, hard work, dedication and most of all fun in Cheerleading in Galway! Cheerleading is a tough sport to crack but once you get into it you'll remember the skills you learn for the rest of your life and may even go on to become a cheerleading coach yourself!
Cheerleading is not just about cheering on the home team although that is how it originated. All Star Cheerleading is a competitive sport which involves strength, discipline, flexibility, gymnastics, dance and some serious chanting! Teams travel 100s and sometimes thousands of miles annually to compete in different Cheerleading events throughout the world and Ireland is finally catching on to how great the sport really is!
The Galway City Cougars would like to invite girls and boys between the ages of 4 and 18 to join the team which will start practice in September 2010. In return we promise to make you stronger, faster, more confident, and more athletic than ever!
