Cheerleading fees

Picture
Cheerleading requires a financial obligation just like any other sport. If you think of Cheerleading as a hobby, it will seem expensive. CHEERLEADING IS NOT A HOBBY! We are a competitive sport and as such there are costs involved.
1. Competition Entry (between €10 and €50 depending on event).
2. Uniforms - all competitive athletes require a uniform and cheer shoes. Shoes from €30 and Uniforms from €80 + up.
3. Choreography and music costs. Ranging from €10 each to €25 each depending upon the size of the team.
4. Travel etc
Seems expensive? Add up the cost of rugby, soccer or gymnastics and it won't look so bad at all! Add up the cost of Irish Dancing and you'll be screaming to join cheer!
For the facilities we offer, the best in Ireland, we are still amongst the cheapest in the country!

level 1

Level 1 Teams cost €115 each 12 week term. Shorter terms are prorated. This includes 2 hours training each week.
Tiny Level 1 costs slightly more at €85 for 1 hour per week. This is due to the smaller numbers required and the special kind of coach it takes to get results at this age group.

LEVEL 2 - 4

Level 2 - Level 4 Teams cost just €160 each 12 week term. Shorter terms are prorated. This includes 4 - 4.5 hours training each week.

Crossovers pay €50 extra per term per extra team they are on regardless of how many extra hours they train.

FAQs
Can I pay in instalments?
If you are a member of the club for more than 1 season you can pay in 2 instalments per term. For level 1 teams, the breakdown will be €75 on week 1 and €40 on week 6 of term. For Level 2+ teams, the breakdown is €110 and €50. If you are experiencing financial difficulty you must approach us if you are looking to pay in smaller increments.

Can I try out a class for free and pay the following week?
No, we have full classes and waiting lists. Unfortunately, with all the overheads it takes to run a business in the current economic climate, we cannot offer free classes.

Will I get a reminder when fees are due?
Yes, we will remind you by email/note.

Will my child be able to participate in class if fees are unpaid?
If you send your child to a class you have not paid for, no club is liable to provide the service to the child. On many occasions, parents drop kids off at classes without paying. Children will not be included in class if fees are due.

Cheerleading is not a cheap sport nor is it amongst the most expensive. We occupy a happy middle ground between community sports and performance arts! It is important that you understand where your money goes and when it is due before you sign up. It is even more important that you understand the financial commitment is to the team not to the club.

Those who understand what money is spent on at the club are happy that they are getting good value. Those who fail to read the documentation available on our site or by asking at the gym, are without fail the ones who drop out mid-season leaving the team in a quandary, or who claim “Money Grabbers!” when referring to their now ex-cheer club. Please let us stress that if the management of the club were ever aiming to be millionaires, that dream long since evaporated. There is no reason for confusion here.

REGISTRATION

This fee covers the day to day administration of the club from the basics to sending texts and emails, running the website etc to the hours of preparation that goes into organising competitions and away events each season.

Each athlete receives a club t-shirt included in this cost. And often times, this fee absorbs any customs fees or late fees that we have to pay that don’t get passed onto the club members.

TUITION

You pay by the hour for everything from dentistry to gardening. Coaching is no different. To produce quality coaches, they need to be able to make a living. Your tuition fees also cover the cost of coaching education so we can pass on the newest coaching technologies on to the athlete. Tuition also covers the shortfall from fundraisers for equipment. Much of our equipment was purchased on credit and needs to be paid monthly.

CAMP FEES

This covers the cost of running the camp and we are among the cheapest in the country for the likes of summer camps and easter camps etc.

CHOREOGRAPHY

We have an inhouse choreographer who charges per athlete. This charge includes a small gym rental fee when out of class times and the rest goes to the choreographer who can spend anywhere between 10 hours and 40 hours on a routine depending on the level and the intricacy. Some teams have 10 athletes, most this season are around the 16 mark. Many choreographers who travel to gyms worldwide will charge between €1000 and €2500 for choreography. Dividing that by a team of 10 is a hard pill to swallow, so we do it all ourselves.
